Are you scared about our future?

Talking about nowadays life do you feel confident or a bit afraid?Personally I don't like how things are evolving and some issues are quite scaring. . .job,love and so on

Sometimes I am, especially with all of our modern social problems.

We are in the infancy of the electronic age, and changes are going to keep coming at us at faster and faster. The intervals between change are growing shorter and shorter and this is impacting all of our social institutions.

As a social scientist I find lots of things are disturbing, like the slowly disappearing middle class, for one. And yes, I agree with one of the other answerer's about the cheapening of life. I think that the internet has a lot to do with this.
Internet experiences do not equal real life experiences... and internet communication is not the same as real life communication.

I'm not so much scared of life in general or whether or not I'll live to be old and gray, I'm more scared after watching the documentary channels learning that the earth itself can be destroyed. What I mean is, there's more evidence with more pouring in daily that we could have a global catastrophe that can / will ruin all of the human race. It happened before about $600 million years ago (according to scientists, they say this is in reality what happened to the dinosaurs) and again before that. I'm more scared of dying that way that I am about love, life, money, family, etc.

Sorry about the length but you asked and most are not facing our reality so here goes.

There is no easy button.

Belief or profession or confession, or declaration alone will not carry any beyond.
Most of us begin to at least comprehend our overall effect.
With few exceptions we are negatively effecting, all that surrounds not just our selves, and not just each other.
Yet this happens because most of us cause it too.
We hold our images, conceptions, and creations highest.
The spirit or substance of humanity is rarely in sync with evolving creations collective requirement.
It is forbidden to tilt or sway away from balance; existing outside of mutual benefit is fatal.
Know this; each being realizes upon that rendered.
Most fail to appreciate. Most cause burden upon the repose of the rest.
No secular jurisdiction or predisposition or justification or individual or group or even species; may relentlessly burden.
Yet repose is utterly disturbed; psyche of a whole sum literally upset; by us alone.

Most of us stubbornly huddle in chattel to motive’s device. Most exist outside fundamental inter-connection incommunicado. Most are detached, distant, sanctimonious, oblivious, argumentative, addicted, destitute, and destructive.
No matter varying, grand, and glorious affirmation(s).

Human form began with opportunity to evolve, within and of all else. If we do not embrace our own intervention, we will remain unneeded, unnecessary, unwelcome, and then no more, relatively soon.
Still most conflict and impose. We destroy, amidst sacred claim and zealous commitment; twain rarely met.
Very few of us, heed, sustain, nurture, harvest and partake, accordingly.

Conception of any, yields to effect upon every.
It matter’s not what or whose side any are on.
It matters not: place, time, shift in persuasion, or perception of power.
No, person, idol, icon, idea, or, ideal alone, gives, or, grants, absolution.
Mutually accommodating sway perpetuates beyond.
Worldly trappings do not assess. Validity prevails.

As it stands, most of us do not stand a chance and while this is not necessarily surprising news to too many, it becomes a stark and startling reality for all.
Profess, worship, declare, debate, confess, riot, martyr, oppress, conflict or terrorize as we do.
No one, or no thing, is acceptable outside of whole-sum-ness sustained.
No matter age or how, cool, connected, devout, traditional, patriotic, or aligned. No matter, how happy, frustrated, accomplished, or destitute.
Let this be understood.
A portion is offered each.
Exist within mutually considerate orientation, or not.
Only then is this received.
It is not given as a favor, to any who do not deserve.
Earth, molecule, and organism throughout, require humble reciprocation.

None may claim or take more, when all else is intentionally reduced to less.

Enough is enough.
Each is offered an opportunity to flow and evolve, within collective equilibrium.
Each of each assessed, despite stature, dogma, sacrament, covenant or profusion.

Imagine it is the end of our days and all other bets are off.
Assume Mecca’s last pilgrimage did occur. Presume opportunity to make the big score, win the lottery, reach nirvana, Valhalla, Shangri-La or Heaven, has passed.
Make supposition you have already experienced your last Hanukkah, Christmas, Ramadan, Thanksgiving, Independence Day or New Year.
Contemplate that you had your last meal, birthday, anniversary, ceremony, service, ritual, celebration or worldly experience.
Consider how you will feel when final words have been uttered and deeds revealed.

Most need to consider our bearings before proceeding any further…yet…

Yeah... I think life is becoming 'cheaper' if you know what I mean... anymore it seems like people don't treat relationships with the respect they used to (for the most part) and the word 'love' is tossed around too much. I'm a little concerned about the future here in the U.S.

I'm not afraid for my future, but I think I fear more for the next generation. This world is in shambles and people just keep tearing it up more and more. Until someone makes a drastic change, we are going to use up all of our natural resources and end up living in a dump.

Used to be scared of life, but at the grand old age of 31 it doesn't bother me any more. Nothing can go THAT wrong.

But when it comes to the future of the planet I am f***ing terrified...

over all or just me! just me and my life I'm not scared more excited!
but over all the world is going to hell in a handbasket to speak!

dunno, dont really worry, if you are gonna worry, be paranoid, depressed about your past, u are going nowhere. I love the 80s/90s but its gone, nothings the same, legally/illegally. If u died today, now, then it doesn't matter because its the future no ones changing anything except for you.
