I am on my 3rd going on 4th Xbox 360 and was wondering if i should just return it and wait for the 4th revistion on it. I have the second or third but the optical drive went out(as my second one did)

whats in stores now is the 5th generation xbox 360
if your xbox 360's are still under warranty (less than a year) then you can have them fix it for a small fee ($70 or something) better than spending $300 for another system

I promised myself I would not even buy one until the price went down. Its been a year an no significant drop. I bet when it does drop, it will be a couple of revisions later anyways. I would return it if I were you.
