alright man. listen. start simple and work up. dont listen to these people who say that you have a hard drive bad. is it possible yes-but i've seen this before and 9.9 times out of 10 the person has left a floppy in the floppy drive or a cd in the cdrom. check to make sure no disks in the drive and go from there. email me if you need to.

Hey dude!
All the fellas hea gone mad.
Simple- System disk= Hard Disk. If I'm not wrong you can't even go to the Windows- ain't it?
Your Hard Disk is corrupt. It just happened to mine just a couple a days ago.
Remedy? Well just reinstall your Windows and Wallah- It's all good to go. If not, **** your Hard Disk and get a new one.
Trust me- It worked here with me as it did with many of my friends. So, just go for it dude.

Check to see that you have not left a floppie disk in the drive. If not, there is a few things. At worst you have just lost the hard drive (failed), or lost system files.

First try ejecting your disk from the floppy or removing your disk from the CD rom drive. That may be your problem
