Yes...if you did what it takes to get pregnant...you can be pregnant.
From my experience, I had irregular periods too, and it caused me to have difficulties getting pregnant. My OB/GYN put me on Clomid. (It is a fertility pill.) Clomid regulated my periods...and it is prescribed too to increase egg production so your chances of becoming pregnant are significantly improved.
Clomid worked great for me. I have two beautiful children because I took it...
Good luck...hope that this helped.

what do you consider irregular???? Everyone thinks that if you don't have your period every 28 days that you are irregular. This is not the case. For some women they go every 34 days, or some go every 29 days, or like me , I might be off one or two days every month. If you are ovulating, regardless of whether you are irregular or not, you can get pregnant. It will just be a lot harder for you to pinpoint when you are ovulating if you aren't having your period at the same time each month. I recommend taking your temperature everyday to find out when you ovulate. You will know you ovulated if on one day your temperature spikes anywhere from .4 degrees to 1 degree. This means you ovulated the day before the temperature went up. Be sure to only use a basal body thermometer. YOu can get them at wal-mart for 10 dollars. Good luck.

yes, you just have to know when you are ovulating to be able to concieve at the right times........Everyone's cycle is different. There is a myth that woman ovulate 14 days after their period begins...but that is only an AVERAGE and each month can be different. The other thing is that sperm can live inside you for up to 5 days.... so if you are having a shortened cycle one month and you have sex right after your period and you ovulate earlier than day 14 than yes, there is a chance of getting pregnant. The only way to know is to know exactly when you ovulate. There are several ways to know and some are more effective than others. Some can only predict before ovulation happens and some can only predict that is has already happened. The absolute best info I can give you is to go read a book called Taking Charge of your fertility by Toni Weschler. It will help you understand your body and all the myths about it. It will help you time when you are ovulating and the best times to conceive – or not! . It's about knowing your body and knowing when you are fertile or not.
My husband and I tried for 1 year and had no luck..… We tried ovulation predictors , laying with pillows under me for 20 min. everything……the first month that I began using the book I realized that my timing was WRONG!. We got pregnant that very first month and I am now due Feb 2, 2007. You can pick and choose what you do with your info. Good luck and don't listen the all the myths! Even if you don't get into charting and everything....it will help you in so many ways!

I have had four periods in my complete lifestyles. I'm 36 and getting pregnant took some work. I needed to take meds to have my durations brought about after which I took fertility medicinal drugs. First clomid (tablets) that didn't work so I took injections. My husband and that i were very energetic sexually and had unprotected sex for over 5 years and not using a baby. But once I started the fertility medication I was once pregnant after 6 cycles, a cycle takes one month. That used to be little one number one. For number 2, I had to take the tablets again and this time the tablets worked. I'm now 13 weeks pregnant with quantity 3 and that i had to take tablets again. The good factor for you is that at least you are having cycles each and every month. But simply considering you're having cycles does not imply you are ovulating. Which you could take a blood scan to peer in case you are virtually ovulating. Talk along with your surgeon and ask for the blood scan. I want you good fortune.

As long as you ovulate, you can get pregnant. Even women that have perfect cycles every month don't ovulate regularly. If you are having pregnancy symptoms, then I would wait until the day after your longest cycle to test. If that comes back negative then you can either wait a few more days and retest or make an appointment with your OBGYN and have them do a blood test. If you are ttc with irregular periods, then you should probably let your OBGYN know this. He/she can help diagnose fertility problems to help you conceive. If/when they can't help you conceive, they will then refer you to a fertility specialist. It's always best to make sure there are no medical issues interfering with conception before going through a whole year of frustrating and disappointing months. Best of luck.

I even have had 4 classes in my entire existence. i'm 36 and getting pregnant took some artwork. I had to take meds to have my classes triggered and then I took fertility drugs. First clomid (pills) that did no longer artwork so I took injections. My husband and that i've got been very energetic sexually and had unprotected intercourse for over 5 years and not making use of somewhat one. yet as quickly as i began the fertility treatment i grew to become into pregnant after 6 cycles, a cycle takes one month. That grew to become into toddler quantity one. For quantity 2, I had to take the pills returned and this time the pills worked. i'm now 13 weeks pregnant with quantity 3 and that i had to take pills returned. the coolest subject for you is that a minimum of you're having cycles each and each month. yet purely considering you're having cycles does no longer mean you're ovulating. you are able to take a blood attempt to be sure in case you're easily ovulating. talk which incorporate your scientific professional and ask for the blood attempt. I prefer you success.

Absolutely!!! I have always had irregular periods and it took me a little longer to get pregnant (I'm on my 4th pregnancy). Twice it took me over a year. You are most likely still ovulating, but maybe not every cycle, that's why it could take longer. Good luck!
