what was the best fight scene you have ever seen ?

The best, most artistic, most beautiful fight scene I have ever seen was the one in "Hero", I think the first fight scene it was when they were fighting in the courtyard in the rain- Also the fight scene in the palace with all the green fabric hanging from the ceiling-
Oh and also the fight scene in the bamboo forest in House of Flying Daggers- Ok, any fight scene from either movie. Zimou Zhang is an amazing director.

The last scene in Once Upon a Time in China III where the Lion King Festival is decided. Through it all there is enormous amount of fighting, acrobatics, and heroic action but Wong Fei-Hong throws back the title at the end. He tells us all that titles are a distraction from what really matters.

I think that Jet Li really shines in this one. I know others think his earlier or later works may be the best, but the Lion Dancing and the message in this gets me everytime. I also like that Wong Fei-Hong is a real historical figure.

I liked all of the the fight scenes in the Black Mask especially the one where Jet Li is fighting the old long haired indian looking leader of that group he was in. That was a bad @$$ movie!

The one at the end of Fist Of Legend is pretty damn good. Maybe the playground fight in Police Story 2.
I like the stuff with the weapons at the end of Ong Bak and also the ladies fighting at the end of Crouching Tiger...

If anyone answers with something American, they obviously haven't seen enough action films and they need to broaden their horizons!

I think a lot of the martial arts fights scenes recently have been pretty sick. jet li in unleashed, in that first scene where he just goes ape **** on those guys, especially the one he keeps pounding on the floor. then tony jao (i forget how to spell his last name) who was in ong bak is effin amazing, because he introducing a less popular style of martial arts to the movies, with muy thai boxing. but we can't knock the original. i gotta give it to bruce lee. just an absolute animal. anything with him and chuck norris dominates, for me anyway

Kill bill quantity a million - Uma Thurman disposing of ninja after ninja after ninja after ninja after ninja and ultimately dealing with off adverse to Lucy Liu and triumphing the showdown (in that splendidly beautiful snowy eastern placing with the Cherry Blossom timber) by cutting the authentic of Lucy Liu's head off. Perfection.
