I work at a local Movie Theatre and I am 17 years old. I work with several males whom I also go to school with. We are always joking around having a good time, but a lot of times they will constantly tease me. I am known as the good, Christian girl that doesn't drink/smoke etc. Well, anyways they are always teasing me, coming up and grabbing my sides or poking my sides/back, grabbing my shoulders, sexual innuendos etc. I know they are guys and it is almost expected by why are they constantly teasing me? It's always when they are together too, because when it is just us they joke around with me but not as much. One of the guys told another guy at work that he thought I was "hot and beautiful" which of course I don't believe, yet he goes out with another girl who is willing to go further than I, but they aren't together anymore. The guy that said this also comes up and hugs me at work. Is this behavior inappropriate at work and how should I take this teasing?

I thought if a guy liked you he would be as nice as possible!

You should confront one of these losers!! If they have nothing better to do than tease someone who is obviously going to go further in life than they are, then they need help!! I know it's hard, but don't let them tease you.. Say something smart back to them when they start annoying you... Or maybe try and find another job.. Try a restaurant out... That's a fun job for someone your age.. Good luck with everything and just remember that you are SO much better than those guys!!

its sexual harassment. they are targeting you cause you probably don't put up a fight. even if you are a "good christian" girl doesn't mean they don't think they can get with you. it could all be in good fun or one could actually like you. long story short it isn't appropriate for the work place. and you should let them know if you feel uncomfortable or they will just keep going further with it.

find another job, it seems like everywhere you go, you are getting treated badly. According to your previously asked questions, you worked at a movie theater, then a few days later; a bar-be-que tavern. Maybe you are doing something wrong. I mean, you've gotten enough advice, maybe you should put it to good use instead of asking the same questions... :)

These guys are playing on you innocence and copping a cheap feel. do not let them get away with this as they will continue to touch you and feel you up as long as you do not protest. As for how far you want to go with a guy that is for you and you alone to determine, do not allow any to guilt you or talk you into any thing that you are not ready and willing to do, What you must do is defend yourself from these so called teasers.

That's called sexual harrasment. You document their actions, get a lawuer and sue them and the theater owners.

It's only inappropriate if it makes you feel uncomfortable. They're just flirting cause they think your cute or they like your personality or both. But if you don't like it, then tell them to stop.
