Is It possible For an actress/Model to make her own portfolio...
Meaning take pics with a regular camrea, A digital one and put it on the computer and send it to and agent or add it to a cd and send them out

You will need a lot of concentration and readyness, but is possible. If you hire or tell a friend to help you itll be easier.

i think it is possible but frankly if you are serious only... you need a good digital camera at least 4 mega pixels .... less will not do . set the camera in the highest resolution. proper lighting outdoors will be fine .but in doors use flash ... and select proper lighting angle. and donot use timer (it doesnot work trust me ). ask a friend to shoot for you. take atleast 10 times the pics you actually need and every pose has to be clicked 2 or 3 times .(finally for every 10 pics you need you might end up shooting a 200 but that is the way in the field) , by the way you can eliminate the bad shots. use makeup that shows. finally redo all pics in your pc with some good software like photoshop if you know how to use or it is safer to select the best piucs and send them as is...

You can do anything you want on a computer as long as you have the right software. There are lots of programs out there that you might be able to use. Maybe you should Google it and see what you get. i don't see why not u can take a pic of your self & put it on the computer of course burn it to a cd, it sounds great & and you save money as well, it doesn't get any better than that, go for it

1) have someone else take the pictures..
2) Proper lighting..
3) More lighting..
4) Plain background, shadow free.
Do you want your careaer to hang on bad photos?

It is possible but not at all recomended. I would go to a portrait studio to try to get some cheap photos. But I would not do them myself. No one would take you seriously.

Yes, and I understand that I can perform and appendectomy on myself. Is it recommended? I don't believe so.
