He was released on $300,000 bail and is awaiting extradition to Mexico some time this month

No he's not. He spent one day in jail and was then released to his wife, but he had to wear an ankle bracelet that would track his movements. He also had a curfew. I know that the bracelet has been taken off him now and the last thing I heard was that his extradition hearing was postponed. He's not in jail and I personally hope that it stays that way!!

The judges in Hawaii recently recinded all the problems by saying simply that they will not extradite him. The request remains in the hands of the politicians, but he is such a valuable asset to Hawaii that they will protect him as long as they can. The ankle bracelet has also been removed.

Its amazing how the Mexican government wants special treatment for its people when they come to America illegaly, yet they harbor American fugitives and when they are recovered and returned to America for justice they throw a fit. Its even more amazing that the US government gives into their demands and doesnt even protect its own citizens. This is a prime example of the pussification of the American government.

I believe he was under house arrest awaiting his return to Mexico. I haven't heard anything lately. I think the guy should get a medal.......and instead he get's arrested.
