Internet banking itself is safe, however the problem is whether your internet connection is safe or not. In case of using wireless connection, sometimes people can hack your signal, and can see what you are doing with the right gadgets. I've seen it on 'Real hustle' on BBC3. You should check if you have a good security system with your internet.

Absolutely. I've been using it for years, even before it was as safe as it is now. Bank of America uses "Sitekey" security to prevent phishing attempts to steal your password, and teh entire transaction is done through SSL, which is a secure way for your computer to talk with theirs.
The only real caveat is when using a public computer, you take the chance of leaving information about yourself. If you use an Apple at the Apple store though, you can "reset Safari" and/or use "private browsing" to keep your info from being saved on the public computer.

its about 99% safe, no internet banking can ever be 100% secure. i use internet banking and never had a problem, u just need to watch for spoofing emails etc..

Yes, it is safe.. Make sure that the url has a "S" as the last letter..https, is what you want, not just http, means it is a safe site, also look for the padlock at the bottom of the page. That means it is a safe site, to enter your information..good luck..
