please let me know how to avoid lizards in our houses. they are really troubling my children and doenot look nice to see in house. please tell me a feasible and practically possible solution.

you can use the following tips:
1) lizards come for food which are flies and mosquitoes. keep them away from your house by closing the doors and windows in the evening.
2)clean your house atleast once a week, destroy the eggs of the lizrds laid inside the switch boards,clocks, picture frames, etc.
3)there are many lizard repellents like laxman rekha'... use any of them.
4) it is firmly believed that a peacock's feathers drive away lizards. stick a few peacock feathers on the walls in a decorative manner, so that they can add the beauty of your home.

Keep brkoen egg shells
after drying, at higher
locations like : near bulbs,
at the back of framed photos,
near the shelves.
Thes will scare the lizards away.
