if you use aim on your verizon cell

you will be charged as you would texting which i think is 10 cents a message

unless you got unlimited....then your ok =)

Because IM'ing is considered txting to a non-Verizon phone, you're chewing up your txt msg allowance. And Verizon doesn't offer unlimited txting to non-Verizon phones so be prepared to pay up.
