She let it roll in the lake and sink. That happened last year and were still together because I love her and that is pretty strong love.

My wife is sitting behind me on the my Harley and by the way, if it had been the Harley under water, she would be living alone right now!

The argument erupted over the inheritance of her belongings and I suggested she sale some of it because we didn;t have the room in the house and then she blew up.

The reason why I posted this question is to try and help others evaluate what love means to stay together and not divrce over material things. She drives a Blue Porsche now and she is content.

That's not a strong love, you idiot, it's a strong dependency and a major dysfunction. Suffering through one insult after another isn't love, it's a selfish persecution complex where you get off on pain to prove how tough you are. You're not tough, you're in a sick relationship that you need to flee from. Salute, say a prayer, kick her into the lake and let her slowly sink. Then walk away.

I do not really know it seems that you are wealthy and insurance will cover the cost of replacing but if it was necessary to do this to get your attention then maybe thats why she did it. Otherwise its just a piece of metal so who cares you get a new one to find a wife that loves and supports you is one in a million.

**** happens! Glad to hear you stayed! Did she do it out of anger? or was it an accident?
wow! I don't think I would have put it lake but I would have taken it for a ride......... LOL
If you stayed because you love her and forgave her why are you complaining now? You can't keep complaining about it if you stayed, I think it's time to get over it!!!!

Your wife has some major issues!!!!! She needs to go to counseling to control her anger, and you need to quit letting her get her way, it sounds to me like she is a little spoiled and she knows you'll let her continue that way.......I would have divorced her..............I would never do that to my husband....Obviously she has no respect for things....I sure wouldn't be letting her drive the car she's driving now...she don't deserve it.......

Case to case basis. If you did something big time that means she has to do something big also. But hey, atleast it wasnt you that he didnt drown in the lake

Well, I guess that all depends on what the agrument was about. If she was pissed that you were cheating on her, then good for her. If she was pissed that you gambled or drank all the money away, then good for her. So what was it?
