i have a chipped ps2 which can play any ps2 game in the world, but his can't. he has the proper pal one. he recently got 3 games from the USA which were all in the format ntsc u/c which only plays in ntsc playstations from USA or japan only. even mine can play them. now he wants my ps2. if i refuse, my uncle will feel bad about it. he is still a kid. what to do? i don't want to give my ps2 to him.

get regional player disc for the pal ps2 then pop in the ntsc games once region has been selected n enjoy

Can't his PS2 be chipped like yours? Maybe you could offer to get this done to ease any potential guilt?

tell him that u cant buy any other kind of ps2 like that in the world or if that doesnt work tell him it was a birthday present

It is your PS2 and that's it, see if you can get his fixed maybe, but you can't just give it because he wants it, that is not clever.

Just because he is a kid doesn't mean he should be entitled to someone's property. It's his problem about the games - not yours. I would stand my ground and say no.
