i need my wife's paystubs (she and i are getting a dissolutiion) to verify on the child support projection that what was posted was fair...is there a way to get them? she wont give them to me so am i at a stalemate? i need to verify the info with my lawyer, but the stubs is all that is holding us back. mind you i dont have a lawyer on retainer and she is getting help from the state so that x's me out. the child support projection puts me at about 2,000 dollars more than i make a year that can be rectified with my pay stubs...but i have the feeling she is lying to me about her projected income. so....in turn it brings me back to the question what can i do so that this wont go into a full blown divorce?

Sorry to say this....but to pursue child support you HAVE to show them pay stubs.....so someone saw hers somewhere. If they miscalculated yours, call a hearing and detest it. But they go by gross not take home. Now if she is fraudulently getting money she has not claimed then you have to prove that! It's rough. I am sorry you are dealing with this.

Without a lawyer you are screwed you don't have any rights, you can't argue your own case, not allowed. Good Luck! you need a full time lawyer!

prior respondent is right.....you need legal counsel on your side, issuing subpoenas for needed records for you, advocating for you before the judge.

never use a "divorce kit" unless you are separating under 100% amicable circumstances.

You need a lawyer to subpoena those records. Trying a "do it yourself" divorce is NEVER a good idea.

A family court mediator or judge can resolve this situation.
