First you need to stay strong and focused. That is very important. Second, you need to buy a small notebook and write down every penny you spend. You need to have it on paper so you can see where your money is going. In most cases you will be able to find places you could cut. Keep records for a week or two and then sit down with family and decide what wasnt necessary to spend. After that you will have an idea of how much you spent on groceries, bills, etc. That next week take your income and subtract what you will need for living expenses, down to the penny, and put the rest away in a savings account. Even if its not much, it will start adding up. Good luck.

First you need to know how much you spend on each expense, then you have to reduce each of those expenses....10% is pretty easy to do when you look at each item individually. My first suggestion is, basic cable and basic phone service, no cell phones....the next thing is you no longer buy processed or precooked foods, you don't need soda and chips, you can bake cookies for a lot cheaper than buying packaged ones. A pot of soup will save you tons, feed the whole family for a few days and make everyone in the household healthier. Those are just some quick ways, feel free to email me if you want to get into specifics...I know Dr Laura is supposed to have something, or some book on her web site on budgeting too.

Well, I got into Avon by accident and I found out that a lot of people like to buy it. If you make sure you get paid before you order you can make pretty good money, because they have a lot of really good products to sell. You get a 50% profit on your first 4 campaigns. If you go to my Avon site and contact me from there, I will make sure someone from the headquarters follows up with your desire to be a rep. There company has changed a lot from the people going door to door in the past.

Avon is ok but what you might be able to do is when you get your ssi check pay your bills and the money you have left over take some of it and put it away.or sell some of the things you have in your house and you will have the extra cash. for you since you have the internet. find some of the things that are in your house and sell them on ebay. good luck.
