We are still a Land fit for Heroes but we are in decline as we allow ourselves to be influenced by things like
Big Brother
X Factor, Pop Idol and Fame Academy
I'm a Celebrity get me out of here
Corrupt politicians
Lying leaders
Overpaid footballers
Over stretched NHS
Armed Forces who do not have the resources ot manpower to do their job - let alone a legal mandate
Undermanned Police Force
Fire Brigade who get no support, but get attacked by children
Lack of parental supervision and discipline
A drug and drink culture of live today F*** tomorrow
lncompetent legal system
Lords who pay for peerages
Child sex offenders
No clear Immigration policy
I think if they collectively turned in their graves they would create a bigger cave than TITAN in Derbyshire

I'm sure they wouldn't approve as much has changed about society--and much of it for the better. How you can think that the UK has any kind of dictatorship is pure rubbish and foolishness. No matter how bad you think things are now, it pales in comparison to what it would have been like if the Nazis had successfully invaded. Even so, things in the UK were very difficult for a very long time during that period.

They would be spinning in their graves. Blair would sell all and sundry down the river, its a wonder we are able to even have rememberance Sunday. Lets put Blair on a boat down the river through traitors gate, onto executioner's hill, where my hubby will be waiting with a sharp axe, or better still a blunt sword. Our heroes did not die for the rest of the world to muscle in and take over our country.

I think they would be appalled about the way the UK is run now.
They went to war to save us from oppression and to allow us to rule ourselves.
Thanks to PMs Heath, Thatcher, Blair and all between we have been sold out in a bloodless coup.
In about two years time (unless we act) we cease to be a sovereign nation.
Check out speakout.co.uk (it's calling for a referendum on Europe)
What have you got to lose?

No. This country is going down the toilet fast. It's a sin that so many young people lost there lives defending the UK and look at the state of it now. It's the worlds ashtray.

Our national identity comes from the Asian subcontinent now, and anyone else that wants to come her and sponge, and tell us what we can and can't do is also most welcome by our spineless politicians.so yes, I think they would feel betrayed. Good point.

They'd have to learn arabic (farsi, pakastani, persian etc.) first.... and then abuse their wives....
Their sacrifice was to a nation that is quickly losing its identity.
