My first question is how's the weather during the new years? How's the Riu Ocho Rios - especially Ocean View Jacuzzi Suite?
Also, is there any nighlife things nearby the hotel? Clubs? (I read that there is a club that has bubble nights??? where everyone in the club get soaking wet?) How safe is it to be out at night?

I am a Jamaican who now resides in America and ocho rios is great.It is fun.It has great beaches.When you are there you should try dunns river falls in ocho rios.jamaica is all about vibes and entertainment that is one thing we do best so I will definately recommend you to go to a jamaican dance especially the street dance while there and see how we get down at our parties trust me you will not regret it .I hope you enjoy your stay there.Am not so sure about the crime rate in ocho rios but I do not think it is bad there

I was in Jamaica in May and drove by this resort. It is fairly new they said and it looked beautiful. I think there might be two on the island, the one I was near was close to Montego Bay and in which case, yes, there is a lot to do there.
