All of the Staal kids---saw one of the younger ones at a Petes/Knights game last spring.
The obvious suspects, Crosby Ovechkin....
I also like Stajan, but will admit I'm biased because he's a Leaf.

Wow, way too many answers to narrow it down. So many players are ripping the league apart and in different situations.
Ovechkin- Comes to minds since he is the lone player on that team and for him to put those kinds of numbers up by himself is amazing.
Kovalchuk- Phenom. He can make any player around him look talented but no one is as good as him at making a goalie look stupid.
Crosby- Man where do you start. He has the amazing ability to find any player on the ice (kinda like Gretzky.) His ability to get himself open and dance with the puck is mind numbing at best.
Staal- What can you say other than he already has a Stanley Cup. Sweet hands and alot of goals.
Malkin- So far he has dazzled like Crosby and Ovechkin did last year. Very strong skating and stick handling.
Phaneuf- No body can lay a player out like this man. Man they look like they hurt. Oh yeah, he can bloody well pick corners with slapshots as well..

I'm keeping my eye on Drew Stafford for the Buffalo Sabres. He scored his first NHL goal last week against the Flyer's. He's a real powerhouse and I think we are going to see a lot of good things from him before the season is over.

All I hear is raves about Phaneuf in Calgary. I suspect playing in Calgary has given him some quieter press than youngsters playing in the US like Crosby, Malkin and Ovechkin (sp)
