I have to write a responce on Frost's poem "After Apple Picking" The lines that I especially need to focus on are:
"I cannon rub the strangeness from my sight
I got from looking through a pane of glass
I skimmed this morning from the drinking trough."
What in the world does that mean? The entire poem is sort of confusing to me, but I really dont see the significance in those three lines. Any help you can give me will be appreciated. Thanks.

Frost is very abstract.....but he is trying to convey something particular.....
In those three lines he's talking about a waking dream he experienced while zoning out on a trough of water.......
