Canadian opinion please!

Well because Yankee tourists are so in your face, think they know everything and tell you what to do. And like a lot of other Canadians we don't like their government, that kills millions of innocent people, threaten to pollute our Red River with one of their polluted rivers, we don't like the fact they are trying to build a wall against us-how neighbourly is that? Canadians don't believe they get any respect from the U.S. We feel like they are sneering at us just because we allow same sex marriage and for the most part marijuana is legal. Also we don't have the first Amendment that every one person is required to be armed to the teeth.

I can only speak for myself, but it was only the Bush admin that I had any issue with. I've met some incredible Americans that I consider to be some of the friendliest people I've met.
Canadians sometimes take offense to some American comments. For example, comments about our stance against fighting in Iraq, or not acknowleding that we are already heavily involved in Afghanistan (where the US killed a couple of us by friendly fire). We also hear a lot of ignorant comments from US citizens who believe we are "trying to be like the US" or "less civilized than the US" or that we are trying to become the 51st state.
It kind of erked me when Canada was getting bashed and called barbarians by the US for the annual seal hunt. Many americans thought it was for fun and that all Canadians were involved. I'd say 99% of Canadians have never seen a seal before. *snap* a child just died in Africa or an innocent civilian killed in Iraq, but who cares!? A cute seal just got clubbed! Boycott Canada!
I also live in Halifax where that US sailor was stabbed to death in a bar brawl last weekend. This was very saddening and has upset a lot of people. Sorry to hear about that.

I am an American but I lived in Myrtle Beach SC for many years. As far as I could see every Canadian I ever met loved Americans!
Myrtle Beach is one of the highest ranked places in Canada to go on vacation, we even had a special holiday called Can Am days.

Well I am both. I don't hate Americans and I dont hate Canadians.
EDIT: It could be due to the sense of inflated self importance some americans have, that and the constant mocking of canada. Canada is a beautiful peaceful country.
