EX. If I searched first for "Apples" and next search was "Azinger", as soon as I type the letter "A", a list of previous searches begining with "A" show up. How can I erase this memory?

this is autocomplete go to internet options > content > autocomplete :)

There are two ways:-

1) if you have Yahoo Toolbar just go up to your left hand on your PC screen there are two small arrows pointing to down next to Yahoo icon.Press the second arrow u will find many items including { Clear Search history } and when you press this item all that history will be removed.
2) if you have no Yahoo Toolbar go to the word Tools up your window to the left press that word and then { Internet options } you will see new window with many boxes,Press
{ content } then press { Auto Complete } and then { Clear Forms } and all search history will be deleted from your PC.
