So here's the deal:
I had to quit my job to return to school as a full-time student, but it was a job that I loved. I go to school on Tuesday and Thursday and I work at a new job on MWF.

My old employer just called me and offered me a position at the company and said they'd be willing to work around my school schedule. It'll almost certainly be more money.

Can I quit the new job after only 3 weeks of working there to go back to where I really want to be?

ultimately it's your life and your income you are considering. you should certainly go for it. but make sure to leave graciously and apologetically. leave on good terms and thank you current employer for the opportunity.
good luck

Ask your old boss how much money he's willing to pay you to come back to work. Also ask him if he can wait two weeks because of giving the new boss a 2 week notice Hope this helps. And yes it's ok if you are sure you will be happy, that's what matters!

Yes, you are still in the probation period. During this time you have the right to quit and your employer has the right to terminate you if you don't work out. The first 3 months of any employment is the probationary period.

Of course you can quit. You are the only one who knows what is best for you. You loved your old job and they think enough of you to contact you and offer you concessions and more money. Go for it. Quitting after three weeks won't affect whoever you're working for, and won't look good on a resume, so leave and forget it. Do explain to them why you are leaving and thank them for having hired you.

Yes you can, its frowned on but you certainly have the right to do it. I suggest though that you talk to your old employer and get it in writing, you wouldn't want them to not pay you what you expect or decide to not work around your school schedule.

Yes and you should. You will be offending your current employer. Be sure that you find out what "work around your school schedule" means exactly first.

Sure. But talk to your boss and tell them why.
Ask if they need notice, probably not, but ask anyway.
And don't forget to say something good about the job you're leaving and thank them for the opportunity to work with them.
Never burn bridges, you never know when you might need that job again.

You bet.....just give him some notice. Tell him you have a better paying job to go to. Maybe he'll do something to keep you...
Who Knows?
Good Luck!!!
