A horse with shoes can inflict permanent damage. On the other hand, it might have been from a boxing match with a kangaroo, and he doesn't want to admit he lost, so he made up the horse story.
Of course, you could always ask some of your dad's relatives that are his age, or his parents or siblings if there are any. Duh.

A horse doesn't have talons, you dumb dumb! How's a horse gonna leave a scar? Some ex-girlfriend probably buss him wit a knife after walking in on him having sex with another man in the the condo they shared.
