If you have Word you have all you need. You have at your disposal page borders, clipart, text boxes, Wordart ... Open a blank document in Word then search Help for information on these items.
Sounds like you could use a couple of good books. Try www.amazon.com and look for used books. I have purchased many used books at Amazon, saved a lot of money, and all books received to date have been in new condition. (Just got a $35 used book for $3.50 and shipping.)
Search for the version you have installed. The "Dummies" books are very good. They inform with humor and contain screen printouts.
