You need to check your oil at least once a week. You're going to seize your engine if you continue not checking it between oil changes. Your compression rings are probably shot, and the car is burning oil. Inappropriate amounts of oil is slipping down past the cylinder rings and is being burnt during the combustion process. You sound like you have already worn componants in the cylinder head, judging by your remark on the engine getting loud. Change to 10-40 weight oil, at a minimum.

If it's not leaking onto the ground, the oil is probably leaking into the engine and getting burned. Look for a blueish-white smoke coming out of the tailpipe as you drive. Also, if there's a leak somewhere inside the engine, you might have oil leaking into the cooling system and/or coolant leaking into the oil. In all cases it sounds like a serious engine problem that's going to be expensive.

You could be burning oil, in that case you would have to have youe piston rings changed, or your gaskets may need replacing. keep adding oil and check the dip dtick every day.

if there is no drip then the car is using/burning oil . . .not good . . especially if your driving it while it is low on oil . . I would check the oil and add oil if it's low everytime I drove the car until you can get it to a mechanic and have it repaired.

You should check your oil level daliy, until you get a feel for it.You might upgrade to a heavier oil like 15-40 wt.You have to change oil weights as it ages.

sounds like something is wrong with the motor, its burning the oil instead of leaking it...most likely it will be very costly to fix
