In olden days, the Doctorate profession was honoured a lot(It still is now) and if you were a doctor, you were like God. So generations after generations have been filled with the word DOCTOR in their minds. It is basically for the High Salary. People naturally want more money for a better life, so, those days only a DOCTOR could fulfill that. But these days EDUCATED Indians are not forcing their children in the field of Medicine. That Doctor Thingy still continues in the rural part of India though.

in india. the population is very large. in india , medical is important where the population is very large
according to ur view, many parent like children to go into the medical profession .
yes it is true.
in india , medical profession earning is high as compared to other profession.
there are many various kind of health problem..
now a day many children like biology as compared to math..
as..above nothing else..............lol

maybe because they see as a good profession right up there with being a lawyer. my friend vasalie's parents pushed her to become lawyer. but there is nothing worng with, at least it is a steady career and osme actually come out to be really good. at least i know my doctor is.
