all profesional sports are run by the media... completely... sponsorship and advertising dollars drive the direction of the teams... the teams with the most backing will ultimately win... players are paid to shave points but not make it look obvious...

sponsorship, because players and teams are always being sponsored by big and rich corporations who are spoiling the beautiful game and making it a money-driven corporate mogul nightmare.

in the world cup final in france ronaldo was unwell and was left out nike insisted he played .thats the power of sponsers
