Ebay is the largest auction website you are able to place bids on items put up for sale, they have many many categories for sale and you can find almost anything there! The best way to start on ebay as a seller is To look around your house for anything you already would like to sell, May people have unused cell phones, videos, games, and other collectible items. YOU will have to pay ebay a small fee for everything you sell and also have to pay paypal if you use it, almost 75% of ebayers use paypal so it is a good idea to use this form of payment if you are going to start to sell items. Then after you have made a few bucks you could buy wholesale lots and resell them. But you do not have to have any start up money after you have sold something or when you list your item is when you have to pay, if you sign up for automatic pay you only have to pay once a month so chances are that you will sell your items before you have to pay fees.

Think of Ebay as the worlds largest garage sale. I don't remember who said that, but it's a good definition. Except in this garage sale, you can find almost anything you want and can either get it extremely cheap, or get caught up in a bidding war. As well as being able to buy that which you covet, you can also sell off items you no longer want, or collectables, etc. Ebay takes a small percentage of your sale, and if you use paypal, they take a small percentage as well. If you're only selling off old junk, then you really only make money, as regardless of the selling price, the customer is responsible for the shipping. I've only ever sold on ebay once, when i was getting a new computer, i sold my old one for some extra cash. It's hard to commit fraud on there because Ebay is extremely responsible and almost all of the users leave feedback.

You can sell items on eBay, which can make a profit without buying stocks. They have categories for almost everything, but they do have certain rules (no alcohol, tobacco, drugs, etc.)
