If your pc is locking up and you cant install spyware etc.. and if you really want to make sure that your dad does not find anything untoward on the PC i suggest that you do a system restore also know as re-image if you have the original disks that came with the computer use theseand follow the insrtuctions. please remeber though this is a very drastic soloution and you will lose all data on your hdd but this may be preferable to being caught looking at porn.

First of all dont be stupid and say things like "I feel like killing myself" nothing in life is that bad that you should kill yourself...nothing. Your computer obviously needs some fine tuning...maybe you have too much crap stored? Do you always clear your history and delete cookies? Go to your tool bar and do that at least see if that helps. Clean away your history...so dad wont find out about the websites. Dont you have a friend that can help you clean up the computer? Get rid of any files you dont need...........unload as much as possible. If all else fails go into like a staples or office depot and pay for a tune up...most computers need them once in a while.

If you accidently went on to porn sites, it is entirely possible that you have picked up a rogue dialler or something similar. It happened to me a few years ago when I was saving the tags on CDs and it was terribly frustrating. If you look up Spybot and run a spyware and adware check, you will find it and Spybot will repair the damage. Tell your Dad that he should not shout at you, nobody died and, besides, it is not nice. Good luck.

You probably have spyware. Try downloading a spyware program. Do you get pop ups? Well if that fails then you should probably kill yourself. Try clearing your cookies and temp. internet files. In Internet Exlplorer go to tools then click on internet options. Then hit delet cookies and delete files. See if that works.

go to www.filehippo.com
download:
1. AVG Free Edition (anti virus)
2. Spybot Search & Destroy (anti ad/spyware)
3. CCleaner (pc cleaning)
Install each of these, and for 1 & 2 run the updates. Also, for spybot, remember to 'immunize'. Run a scan using each of these.
Everytime you finish using your PC run ccleaner.
This should help.

Get Ad aware it's free and it will clear all the nasty cr*p that those sort of sites put on your pc. Also go to the internet options in tools on IE and clear your cache cookies and temp files. Start the PC in safe mode and install the adaware then

You could try system restore, that will return the comp to how it was a few days or even weeks ago, click start, all programs, Accessories, system tools, System restore, then click Restore my comp to an earlier time and so on.
