There are many roads that are suppose to be the most haunted in England. So it is up to you to decide who story you wish to believe. Right now every country in this world states that they have the most haunted roads. As for myself I believe that all of them have some merit. But the mass slaughter that went on in Japan, China and Europe should give you reason enough to think about who is really number one..................

Lannock Hill in Weston , Hertfordshire, near Stevenage.
Definitely. It is the only place I have seen a ghost & had it confirmed by a third party.
The village of Weston also has a "ghost stagecoach" which many have heard & some have seen.
The M6 - I have heard these rumours but have never witnessed anything although I have driven the motorway many times.
I have an open mind - ghosts probably exist but it is more likely the STONETAPE theory (a kind of reply caused by atmospherics)

Definitely Silverdale Road, Sydenham in South East London. I know people who had to move away from the estate there because they couldn't live alongside the apparations. The estate was built over the top of an old graveyard so it was asking for trouble.

I heard on the radio last week that it was the M6 - there are sections where roman legions have been spotted (presumably near hadrians wall), a phantom lorry coming at you the wrong way in teh fast lane, you name it - spooky!
