This happened three weeks ago and then the engine light came on, car started bucking, took it to the shop, had computer replaced for $1,100. Two days after getting the car back, the car and battery both died, which blew out the computer again. Replaced the computer a second time. Now 4 days after getting the car back again, the oil pressure light is once again flickering. It only does this after the car is warmed up and when I brake or put it in park. I have kept up on oil changes and have not changed the type/weight of oil I've been putting in for 2 years now. Any clue to what it could be?

A battery dying doesn't blow a computer. And a computer doesn't cost $1100 to replace. You need a good electrical person to check things out. You could have something as simple as the ground wire from the engine to the frame being loose. That causes all kinds of electrical problems. Any decent shop will hook a pressure gauge up while the car is idling to see if it's your sensor or it's really low.

Oil pressure usually drops a little as RPM's fall to idle, but you should have enough oil that the light doesn't come on. It's either low on oil, or has a bad oil sensor, or maybe the filter is very clogged or something. You've paid $2,200 to fix a $6,000 car and it's not fixed at all? I hope you're mad at that shop.

You are either low on oil, the oil strainer in the pan is clogged, the oil pump is going out, or you have a faulty idiot light.
