wife burned her shoes except her work shoes she thinks her feet will adapted to the weather, she is outside all the time that is what worrys me.

don't worry me & my siblings have been doing that since we were toddlers from early spring-late fall. btw what part of iowa are u from? im from swisher.

In the summer time, yes, she can make it 24/7. The real question is: Can she make it 12/24/7? The answer is a definite NO!! She will end up with sever frostbite and then she won't have to worry about ANY shoes. Her feet will be amputated. Get her to a shrink!!! Good luck. Pops

I was born in northern Iowa, and I wouldn't go barefoot 24/7. It's too hard on your feet. Especially in the Iowa winters.

If she wants to get frostbite next month, sure. Mid November and look at the temps. Although the NWS predicts a milder winter this year, I would hang on to my wool socks if I were her.
