Simon does not actually manage bands,he just has them on his label i.e westlife who are managed by louis walsh but are on his label, he has had Zig & Zag,Teletubbies,Robson & Jerome and Will Young.I think his only fault was not signing the spice girls, he would have been even richer

The truth is that he doesn't care about the quality he's just looking for a quick buck and that's how he's made his fortune; managing this month's tat that will sell to the kids and grannies and then disappear. He's in it for the money and it's a joke that he gets to judge a competition that's supposed to find the next big thing when all he's after is someone who will sell a load of their first album and then he doesn't give a toss about them after. He's even proud of that! He admitted that he only backed Michelle McManus to win Pop Idol because he knew the public would love her - briefly - and he would make money out of her.
