I was curious what I should do if I am sick (flu, cold, just feel sick) and feel like I could puke and need to take my birth control pill? I do not want to puke it back up...

As long as you don't throw up within about 20 minutes of taking the pill, it is in your system. Call a pharmacist and ask them. 1-800-Wallgreens works for me even if I don't use them.

Try to take it, maybe with just a tiny bit of water or ginger ale. If you do end up puking it back up, just know that you need alternate methods of birth control that month. You could also ask your pharmacist or your doctor if you should double up the next day when you don't feel as sick and just finish your pack of pills early or what you should do.

Well even if you do take it when you dont feel sick it has to be in your body 7 hours before it takes effect so basically you need to not throw up for 7 hours!!! You can still take it with cold, flu etc as long as you dont puke up it will still work. If you do throw up however you are unprotected for 7 days!
