I bought some super soft ones on ebay. I love them! They are handmade and have outlasted ALL the washclothes I bought. Just search for handmade wipes.
I bought mine about a year ago from cutewipes4u. I use them as wipes/washclothes and they are nice little burbclothes on the go. I have them in my diaper bag now for my son (8 months) as little napkins.

Babies R Us has a nice selection. I spoiled my child and just bought the best egyptian cotton towels and washcloths I could find at Bed Bath and Beyond instead. You could also make your own if you're crafty!

I liked my Gerber ones the best, from Walmart. I got them for my baby shower. They don't have a rough or thick edge that gets in the way like some do, and they are definitely soft enough for baby's body and face.

I always go to walmart or target to buy wash cloths for my daughter, but any wash cloth will do as long as you use the soft side of the cloth.

have you visited a baby store? tiny tots or anything for the little ones? they have stores for babies. otherwise make a few calls Penny's, target,walmart. or ask someone that has a baby that uses them. good luck

buy somthing that says baby was cloth its to wash your babys cloth in the washer and don't hang dry it put it in the dryer
