A miscarriage is when your body gets rid of a baby. You generally start out with either spotting, bleeding or cramping and then you will expell the fetus within a day or two. If you do not expell the fetus or all of the fetus then the doctor will usually perform a D&C to remove the rest of the fetus. Generally when a miscarriage happens early in a pregnancy it is natures way of taking care of a baby that wasn't right. This is info is something I have gone through personally.

There are several ways to miscarry. Why are you asking? Are you planning of trying to find ways to loose your baby. I hope not. If you lost one I am sorry to hear that. Falling, stress, and several other ways can cause a miscarriage
