As a Canadian, I'd have to say the petrol pump worker, mostly because I'd be close to my family / friends, have holidays off just like the rest of the world (some ARE federal holidays and HAVE to be taken off), and I also have an ex-brother in law who is raising his family and quite comfortably by owning / running his own petro station. And unlike some of the answers given to you, workers here are not 2nd class whether or not you pump gas.

If I were an Indian I would rather be with my family and be at my home. I am lucky in that I am A 3rd generation Canadian and my family is with me but I work away from home for at most 24 days at a time .Depending on quality of life I would rather be home all ways but I earn more money working far from home. So only you can choose which is more important family or money.

too much $, no such thing. If your family gets sick and you have to pay Dr bills, lets see how much is too much $, get the $$ and your laptop and the internet and a sixpack and some weed is all you need. Stinky India will always be there.
