Okay...I'm 32 so you aren't that old. I don't remember mini pops...I do recall when you could buy newly released singles on cassette and the introduction of the Sega and Nintendo. All that time I thought I was the sh*t because I had Atari. And speaking of cartoons...I suppose you recall that Fraggle Rock only came on HBO huh?? Just a little snippett. And the original boy bands....NKOTB, Boyz II Men, Menudo, etc. Need I go on????

When I was about7 or 8 years old, the bowling alley in my small town got a "COLOR TV"!!!! Alot of people would go there, not necessarily to bowl, but to gawk in amazement at the TV set..Shortly after that, some company devised a way to make a black &white TV set to look like a colored one by installing a plastic mult-colored lens in front of the screen . It was divided into 3 parts, the top layer was blue, middle layer brown, and the bottom layer something else.It worked OK whenver a landscape was shown, but everything else looked horrendous!!! So much for high-tech technology of the early sixties!!

well I just turned 39 and the first technology I can remember (& I had to stop and think about it..:)..would be watching Mr. Green Jeans and Captain Kangaroo on our family's floor console TV..you know the kind that come in a cabinet?? those are the only kind I ever saw anywhere's back than and look at how it's changed in the last lets say 35 years...now you can watch TV like a picture on a wall or be able to carry a way to watch television around in your pocket...hmmm how times have changed....take care & peace..
