i would say you'd have to be mighty unlucky (or lucky?) to be shat on - I did field research on marine birds (noddies) at Heron Is. and so was constantly standing under trees (these guys nest in high densities in pretty pathetic-looking trees), counting birds, and collecting poop samples and i didnt get crapped on ONCE! This was over a period of a week and a half. The other person in my group only got pooped on one occasion. We actually had a tally going for who got shat on the most but I have a feeling these people were purposefully running under the falling poop so they could claim the prize and the glory!

Depends where you are standing. If you are standing under a railway bridge, a tree or anywhere at the Annual International Budgie Fancier Convention then I guess the chances would be pretty high. However, if you are out in the open, they will be a lot slimmer.
Try placing a bet on whether you will be shat on yourself with a leading bookmaker and see what odds you get.

depends on how u define your probability event...
going by your question, if u define ur probability events as
x = being shat on by a bird
and
y = not being shat on by a bird,
then the probability for x is .5

Don't know, but once, I was at the mall trying to find a parking space... and I saw a bird take a poop an this guy's newly washed truck, which was funny. He had parked away from everybody, and he was coming out of the mall at that exact time too. He saw me laughing.

i replaced into on a field vacation (a lengthy time period in the past) and that i replaced into strolling in to the former North Church - it wasn't precisely reliable good fortune for me, I had to spend the day as "the lady who were given shat on"

Your parameters are set too wide. It depends on the size of the bird, the size of your body mass, the type of clothing you are wearing, whether you are using an open umbrella, whether you are moving, whether you are standing, sitting or laying down, whether you are standing under a migratory route...... Get the idea?

With most birds, the chances are fairly remote - but seagulls do it deliberately and have a good aim.
