I wonder who should take the full reponsibility? The church, the law or the non-government organizations?

I'm only asking you to pick a side and defend yourself.

I personally think the church or some religous organization should take it. It's to show that they do care for these people and will provide a home for them. So far, I haven't heard of any religous organization here who does just that. That is also quite odd... but...

The main issue is helping the child to recover and redeem him/herself... But which of the three should give the best kind of help?

That completely depends on the circumstance, the organization and the abuse itself- a very hard thing to pick overall. As an American- with average $$$ and college and a good home and family as background, I would say that many of us would take in, help and backup anything we need to do to help a child. As far as I'm concerned anyone who touches a child ruins not only their future but that of a meaningful part of our country and society. They are our future! And the perpetrator should be shot- but that's a personal opinion and we can't do that in our society.

Our church help out in these situations. We also have a home for unwed mothers who were raped.
I think everybody should TAKE responsibilities to a child who has been molested, or abused one way or another. And the person who did it, should be castorated ( male ) and sewn completely shut ( female). And of course THROWN in the slammer with no books, only a bible and nothing else, along with the rest of the prisoners.

Strange question...none of these three is responsible for the problem of child molestation. If you are asking who can best solve the problem, then I pick law enforcement including judges and DA's who refuse to throw out or dismiss cases, stronger enforcement and harsher sentencing. If you are asking who is in the best position to help children afterwards, I'd probably go for non-government agencies.

The person who molested the child is the one to take responsbility. They are the criminal in the example.

Anyone else who wants to stop in and help the child, that's nice. Parents, friends, churches, other groups -- help is always good.

But the real issue is punishing the criminal, and that's up to the legal system.

the scumbag who molested first and foremost. as for recovery it will take the family with the help of counselors, etc. to help the child cope with this, there is no recovery and certainly no need for redemption on the victims part. as for responsibility its no one's responsibility its more about their compassion and care. there are a myriad of govt and religion organizations that help this. the law's responsibility is to protect and defend the child and ask for help for them and their families.

hmm.. I think we would be better off if we didn't assign to one group in particular... yes the church gives alot of support, but you know what... EVERYONE should be making efforts!!! people who are more capable should help/give more than those who can't provide as much... we are all human, we all sin, we should all be making steps to stopping the evil!!! we all need to stop blaming someone or something else, and start blaming ourselves...

that is a very good question!!!! the government via tax dollars takes very good care of the perpatrator while the victim can whistle dixie...in some ways I feel the gov. should pay for victim counseling etc., yet on the flip side the gov. screws up everything it touches...
I DO believe that victims of this HORRIFIC crime rightfully deserve financial assistance for their recovery.

I'm clueless as to why a child should have to redeem him/herself after they've been molested. They've done nothing wrong to warrant redemption.

I'm not sure I understand the question. To you mean who's at fault or who should lead the prosecution?????

No one is at fault except in the coverups. As a parent, its horridly easy to allow a predator into your life. BUT to ignore the signs.....

I think the parents of the abused child should be able to punish the convicted offender as they see fit . There would be NO REPETE OFFENDERS IF IT WERE UP TO ME !!!!!!!!!
