It is around the top inside of the glass of the tank where the water has evaporated over time.

If it is not too much then just use a razor blade and scrape it off. Even if it is a lot you can still use the razor but it will just take a little longer. It is safe to do with or without fish in the tank.

Just use a 2-sided sponge like you wash dishes with. That's just part of having a fish tank.

I used lemon juice on mine and it works great. I did some research and found that it was safe to leave my fish in the tank while I did this.

If there are no fish in the tank any longer, use Lime Away! It works great!

well if it doesn't just come off with a hot rag then i bet you can go to the pte/fish store and they might have a certain spray or soap you use.
