She left me to reinvent herself with her lifecoach/lover. I am still paying the mortgage, living in another state with relatives. I am broke as a joke. She called twice last night between2 and 3 and has call 8 times this morning. I haven't answered any of her calls, because they usually end up in a fight or dredge up the pain. Why the eff is she doing this?!

Lets not think about why, because it doesn't matter. Lets work on how to make the phone calls stop.

Pick up the phone and say, "Hello." She will then start in with her mess of problems she wants to talk about. Interrupt her in a very calm and firm voice. Say, "(her name), I don't want to talk to you. I don't want you to call here ever again. We are finished, and I want nothing to do with you. If you wish to communicate with me you may write to me via certified mail only, at (PO Box). I'm going to hang up now, goodbye."

Okay the reason why we want her to write to you is for documentation purposes. You didn't say if you were married, even so you have a house together and to get her name off the paperwork you must be in some sort of contact with her. All mail must be certified, its the documentation you need in court. If she sends it regular send it right back unopened. If she calls after that pick up and then hang up immediately. If you know you are one day going to end up in court, keep a little booklet that documents how often she calls (time/date). This can be harassment, and in court will show her obsessiveness.

good luck.

I think that there is the possibility that she wants to come back, or she is seeing if she can still pull your strings, which she can. If you no longer love her the next time she phones you need to say to her. You left me and we are no longer together, you left me for another man, which was your choice. Now leave me alone to live my life. Also if she keeps phoning after that it could be worth changing your number

It sounds like she enjoys the drama; some women just like to inflict more pain on the man they hurt! My guys ex did this to him for about 2 years! Those women are hard to understand...I'm a woman...and I don't even understand it!! Just keep ignoring her and she'll stop!
