Some people really don't read the details of a persons question do they. On the bandwagon they jump without looking properly.
Lithium is a human medication and it probably wouldn't do the hamster much good. Alot of human meds are harmful to animals as their "systems" are different to ours.

Lithium is a mood stabilising drug only for use in humans who are bipolar. Not reccommended in animals.
