I have about 15 yards of white tulle left over from my wedding. Besides a tutu, what can I possibly make out of this tulle?

You could use it to wrap up pretty gift baskets for female family members and friends. Fill the basket with things they love and cover it with the tulle. Attach a pretty bow, small poinsettia pick, or berries and there you go.

Use it for Christmas. Instead of garland on the tree, weave it in and out close to the lights. It will shimmer and give the tree a very classy look.

If you can hold on it for that long, save it for when you have a baby. If it's a girl, you can make a very pretty canopy over the crib, kind of like a mosquito net.

Good luck with whatever you choose!

Well it depends on the width of the Tulle. Since its from a wedding dress I'll assume its standard 45-60" wide. You can use it to make mosquito netting for the summer. Just make regular curtains but add a little bit of extra weight in the bottom corners with a couple of metal washers (just to keep it taught when hung). Use flexible pvc tubing or regular curtain rods to hang it around your bed. CAUTION:test your tulle for flame retardness by burning a small square to see if it will flame or melt...melting is better for bedroom use.

If the left over tulle is irregular shaped from making the dress you can always use it to make back scrubbers. Cut the tulle into long strips 4X the width of the scrubber you want. Fold the tulle length wise in half, then turn each side in so the raw edges are in the center of the tulle *you will have a long "tube" with one fold along one edge and two folds along the opposite side* now using dental floss (its already waxed for strength) put a running stitch down the center of the long tube going thru all 4 layers of tulle. Pull the floss tight and wrap it a couple times aroung the center of the resulting puff and tie tightly a couple of times. Use some satin or nylon rat-tail cording to make a hanger for the puff...or attach it to a painter's stir-stick to make a back scrubber.

Use the tulle to make pre-made bows that you can attached to barrettes and decorate with rhinestones or glitter. You could always use it to stuff the sleeves of dress if it has puffed-sleeves.

You can use it to add new life to tatter bath towels. Cut the towel in half, possibly quarters depending on size. roll it up like a hotdog and wrap it in tulle leaving enough on the ends to grip. Tie off the ends--you now have a wonderful back scrubber that will hang and dry between showers...and its washable too! It will make wonderful suds.
