Love has a tragic end liberating the soul which is very painful.Atleast i've seen this happen with those who loved their beloveds dearly, the lady loves leaving them to cry in despair. Some of them have learnt to feel liberated from the curse of being dumped.

The only pain associated with love is the realization that you didn't have realistic expectations, a healthy selection criteria and a good definition of what love is to begin with.
The pain, then, is there upon seperation so that you will learn something, hopefully. Some people never do: they jump into other relationships and repeat their mistakes because they are in denial that they are part of the problem and only harbor resentment instead of being thankful for the lesson.

Anytime you open yourself up to the possibility of love, then you take a chance of having your heart broken. This is life.
