Thats a broad question my friend. If it is a part of the mobo then you can only disable it in device manager or the bios. If it is a card like a pci card you just un-screw and pull it out. Sounds like it is a part of the mobo. In that instance {you can only disable it in device manager or the bios}

Be careful, one of the previous posters saying that all sound cards come out is not right. Many motherboards have something called onboard sound, it is a chip on the motherboard. If your sound plugs come out near the monitor and usb plugs and appear to be part of the motherboard then your audio is onboard and CANNOT be removed. If its causing problems you can disable it by going into the BIOS.

If it part of motherboard you can't remove it. Are the plug-in spots lined up with the motherboard? You should be able to tell when you get your computer case removed.

If this issue seems, I advise you getting a similar equipment RAM which you makes use of.

Most motherboards these days have built-in sound, so you can't physically remove it. You can disable it within Windows, or to be really thorough, in the BIOS setup.

simple if the sound card is a card and not built into the mother board just go to control panel and uninstall it then turn off ur computer and pull it out. if it is built in well... it stays there.

If it is integrated, you disable in it device manager, and enable the new one you install, if that is what you want to do.
