you mean clear acetate sheets?

you can make see through cards.
for example a vanlentine card. cut out a heart shape in front, decorate and everything and stick clear sheet at the back of the page where there was a cutout.

then on the page inside where messages are put. you can write a poem or quote that would be visible even if the card is closed. use a nice calligraphy for that message.

an alternative to sticking it is putting it inside the four-fold card. (:

Hmmm well I'm no expert but you could stick the clearbits on top of bits you stick on...just to make it shiny!

OR!

You could make clear cards. Stick normal paper in the middle of the folded clear sheet. Stick stuff on the paper, and write on paper inside. So you'd get like a clear border.

Have fun! :D

You can make make stencils. draw or trace a design on the acetate with a fine permanent marker and cut out using a double bladed stencil knife. Dont forget to leave bridges in the design. Celtic knotwork patterns make great stencils. You can then use your stencil to emboss your cards.

I know a cardmaker who makes lovely glitter pictures on acetate and mounts tem in aperture cards.

I love card making too!!!! I use these plastic sheets when i have attatched a photo to the front of my card & I stick this over the top so it is like a glass effect & then I decorate around it with relevant things to the persons taste. xx

you can stamp on them with Stazon (black Ink), then on the reverse side, smear some drops of a reinker on the back, sprinkle with glitter and lay a sheet of tissue paper on it. This is your main focal image then to attach to a card.

i've also seen a great clear card made recently. if you wish to stamp on them, you will definately need Stazon as it stays on to any surface.

How about using them like stained glass windows in a cut-out in a card. Use glass paints or permant markers.
