Knowing Dr Phil, he would probably say it was a genetic error of misplaced fat cells that has absolutely nothing to do with his physique.

NO one in America knows what fat is anymore and it's no longer a health issue, but rather a harrassment issue.
Yes he's fat but the USA is fat so it is irrelevant. 1 in 5 kids will be obesist here soon so how many will be healthy 1 in 5, what of the other 4 are they slighty over weight?
People in the USA can't handle the truth that is why we have a bi-polar government and news media.

He isn't huge, he has some extra pounds but realize that he is busy and probably doesn't have time to sit and eat dinner at home all too often. Eating on the run makes you gain some weight. Plus he is very tall, taller people have more weight.
He doesn't promote losing weight, he promotes eating healthy. Look at Oprah, her weight is up and down all the time yet she still talks about healthy eating.

He IS fat! and I'd tell it to his face. If he can square off telling people exactly what he thinks of them, then why can't we?
Besides, he's not that good anyway. He seems to have a high opinion of himself, and let me say this out loud... No one is flawless. He needs to come face to face with himself someday.

Yes i would....he's always telling people that they need to lose weight....how their eating habits and lifestyles are horrid.....when he's obese himself.......I heard an interview he was in where he was asked about his weight and if he thought that he was a bit hypocritical.......he replied that he was the smallest that he could possibly be considering his age.......but that's a total joke....

A bunch of people are suing him for his diet book. They claim they followed it to the letter and got no results. Dr. Phil needs to stick to psychology.

I will certainly do. He used to be a very nice guy, but lately the whole show has gone to his "head" and I don't watch it anymore. I do like his wife's book, she really tells it like it is.
