I heard it was impossible to do this, I have tried it, so have the rest of my office and so far I have not found anyone who can do it.

Sit on a chair and stick out your right leg, with your ankle, rotate your foot in clockwise circles. Now stick out your index finger on your right hand and draw a number six (starting at the top of the 6) in the air but keep going with your foot in clockwise circles....Did you manage to keep your foot going clockwise?

I know its to do with the brain sending signals to the right hand side of your body. Just wondered if anyone had managed to control both!

Let me know!

yup can do it, its like pat the head rub the belly thing not hard, just concentrate and you will do it, gotta tell your brain that foot is going clock wise and keep saying it in your head then watch your hand and make a 6 not hard at all its mind over matter!

Yeah, I can do it. But someone showed my this when I was really young, so I've had plenty of time to practice. The trick is to force your brain to disassociate your leg and arm. It's tough, and it gives you a headache after a while, so it's not really worth it.

My auntie used to have me doing that when I was a kid to keep me quiet, I am nearly 50 years old and I still can't work out how it does that, fascinating though and its a great one for kids to try, now come on back to work it will soon be Friday.

No - can't do it - had a good laugh trying though, so thanks for that.
It's like trying to pat your head with one hand and rub your tummy - with a circular motion - with the other hand. hehehe
