it's peppers. urlacher is having a very good year, but peppers already has 11 sacks in only 9 games. he is in the backfield on every play, and he disrupts the other team on both running and passing plays. peppers is in the back of every qb's head right now, because they know that he gonna hit them like a piledriver if they don't get rid of the ball fast, which means fewer accurate throws

I would have to agree with you on Urlacher. You can look at his stats, which are awesome, but he also helps by calling out audibles before the QB hikes the ball depending on the offense's formation and the situation.

i deff agree with urlacher becuase any time you put him on the field hes always gonna give u his best and record all kind of stats another guy i would consider is ronde barber hes catching interceptions like urlacher is getting tackles lol so hes doin good but i would give it to either one prob a edge to urlacher good choice man

I honestly think Peppers is going to get it.
Champ Bailey deserves it almost every year though. He would also be a good choice this year (he's not getting noticed as much because he hasn't had as many INTs as last year, but he's shutting guys down even better --I don't think even Peyton Manning looked his way once).
